Dear Secretary Ziqing, President Fu, and leaders, good morning!I am very honored to be invited by the association to make this report. This is a proposition composition - supply chain and automobile power. It should be said that this topic is a commonplace, but today it has been given a new connotation. I think everyone has a deep feeling. The lack of cores last year is likely to be due to lack of cores and electricity this year. There may be new situations next year. Therefore, the supply chain problem will be a huge challenge for the entire automotive industry in the future. In fact, this is not just The automotive industry itself, but a huge challenge that the entire country and the world have to face. It's really hard to explain such a big issue in 15 minutes, but that's the main task given to me by the meeting, and I try my best.

10 years ago, when I was still in Geely, I participated in the research project of "manufacturing power" of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and I continued to participate in this project after joining Tsinghua University. At that time, my task in the research group was to establish a model for evaluating the strength of the country's auto industry, so as to clarify China's position in the world and the direction and path of its follow-up efforts. To be honest, I have been working hard in the automotive industry for so many years, and I think I understand cars very well, but I think systematically about what it means to be strong in the automotive industry. They all say that Germany, Japan, and the United States are strong, why are they strong? This question is really not that simple.Later, after careful sorting and research, a multi-level indicator system that can quantitatively evaluate the strength of a country's auto industry was finally established.
