ZEEKR 001 hits 20,000-unit delivery milestone

Shanghai (Gasgoo)-ZEEKR, a premium all-electric car brand of Geely, delivered the 20,000th ZEEKR 001 on May 28 at the 2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show, the automaker announced via its WeChat account.

It took ZEEKR only 192 days to start official vehicle delivery since the brand was launched, and 110 days to complete its first 10,000 units of deliveries. According to the automaker, the period for hitting the second 10,000-unit deliveries was further shortened to 107 days.

As ZEEKR's first production model, the ZEEKR 001 was launched on April 15, 2021. Based on Geely's Sustainable Experience Architecture (“SEA”), it comes with three variants, which are currently priced from 299,000 yuan to 386,000 yuan ($44,830 to $57,870). The dual-motor YOU version is equipped with two permanent magnet synchronous motors and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The single-motor ultra-long range model has an NEDC range of up to 712km thanks to a 100kWh power battery pack.

While announcing the latest delivery milestone, ZEEKR opened a new ZEEKR Space in Chengdu, which is the brand's 100th store of its sales and service network. As of May 19, 2022, ZEEKR has deployed 2 ZEEKR Experience Centers, 81 ZEEKR Spaces, and 17 Delivery Centers. The total number of ZEEKR's offline stores is expected to reach nearly 300 by the end of 2022.

On May 19, ZEEKR announced the delivery of its 10,000th home charging pile, signifying its home charging service network has covered 292 cities of 31 provinces in China.
