The new Mercedes-Benz EQE rolls off the production line, with a pure electric cruising range of over 700 kilometers to be released on June 16

On June 13, Beijing Benz's 4 millionth vehicle rolled off the production line at the Shunyi plant and the new domestically produced Mercedes-Benz EQE officially rolled off the production line. The new car is built on the EVA architecture. At present, Beijing Benz has formed a product matrix consisting of 11 models, including the brand new Mercedes-Benz EQE. EQE, EQA pure electric SUV, EQB pure electric SUV EQC pure electric SUV four pure electric models and E350eL plug-in hybrid sedan.

Beijing Benz was established on August 8, 2005. In November 2016, Beijing Benz achieved the first one million vehicles off the assembly line. It took Beijing Benz 11 years from its establishment to the first one million vehicles off the assembly line. In 2018 It took only two years to build the second million vehicl es in November. On June 13, Beijing Benz officially completed the production of the 4 millionth vehicle.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE has been listed overseas. The EQE 350+ is priced at 70,626.5 euros or about 495,000 yuan, and the AMG EQE 43 4MATIC is priced at 103,827.5 euros, or about 728,000 yuan.

Beijing Benz's new pure electric sedan EQE will be officially unveiled on June 16 and will be officially launched within the year.In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4969/1906/1509mm and a wheelbase of 3120mm, which is positioned as a medium and large sedan.The appearance of the new car is basically the same as that of the overseas version. The front part still adopts a closed design. The bright black grille is matched with the Mercedes-Benz logo. The air intakes on both sides are decorated with typical Mercedes-Benz characteristics.

In terms of power, the electric motor equipped with the Mercedes-Benz EQE is expected to have a power of 215 kilowatts, and may be equipped with a lithium battery pack with a capacity of 96.1 kilowatt-hours.
