GM reveals Cadillac Celestiq luxury hatchback EV

GM has released images showing the sleek and streamlined design of the Cadillac Celestiq concept, which will be seen as "the purest expression of Cadillac's design, technology and performance," according tomedia reports.

Project Celestiq was first announced at CES 2021.GM CEO Mary Barra also announced at the time that the company would invest $35 billion inelectricand autonomous vehicle technology.

Cadillac's latest release includes a picture of the taillights, a picture of the headlights and hood area, and a short video shot in dim light conditions.The company said it will post more images via Cadillac's Instagram account this summer.

The Celestiq will be Cadillac's first electric sedan/hatchback to use a 2+2 seating arrangement.Celestiq will be handcrafted, so it will be more expensive.In 2020, Cadillac President Steve Carlisle said the new model will be priced in six figures, and the first digit will not be 1, which means it will start at at least $200,000.

According to reports, Cadillac will first release the Celestiq in the form of a concept car and officially release it in 2025.The new car will be equipped with all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering, and the range will be more than 300 miles (about 480 kilometers).There are also reports that Cadillac will only build a few hundred Celestiqs a year.
