Drive the legendary D-Type, E-Type and more in the Jaguar Legacy Driving Experience

Jaguar Land Range Rover Special Operations has announced that they will be launching the first Jaguar Heritage driving experience in Warwickshire in November 2014.The drive will give participants the opportunity to drive a number of heritage cars, including the Le Mans-Racing Legend Jaguar D-Type, the Legend E-Type as well as the latest F-Type R Coupe.The event will also include cars from Jaguar's recent purchase of over 500 fine British Heritage cars from private collectors, many of which will be driven for the first time.

John Edwards, managing director of special operations at Jaguar Land Rover, said, "This is our first experience with a new print, and for the first time in Jaguar's history, we have taken a collection of this caliber available for 'reach and drive' The experience . . . a very exciting new project that underscores the essence of a special operation - firmly celebrating the legacy in the future.”

Jaguar plans to offer visitors a variety of packages, each with a different era.The Jaguar Experience package offers passenger rides to be driven with an experienced professional, and visitors can choose from models that include the XK150 or Mark 2 Saloon, or selected pairings such as the Series 1 and 3 Series 3 E-Types, or they can go with a modern The heritage-driven heritage car counterparts, such as the E-Type with a factory-fresh F-Type.

With the Le Mans Experience Pack, visitors can relive the days and D-types of the world-famous 24-hour endurance race.This package also features drives for the XKSS and the F-Type R Coupe.The Grace and Pace Experience Package offers full-time driving of the Jaguar Legacy Legend, as well as the new XFR and F-Type R Coupé models.With this pack, visitors will also drive creations from the company's special ops pitch and include a driver-driven transfer at the classic Jaguar Saloons to lunch venue.
