"After reading reviews and watching videos from trusted reviewers, I decided to upgrade one of my older radar detectors, mostly because of all the false alarms. My previous detectors had GPS enabled and could lock on to known Fixed false signals, but can't do anything with false signals caused by newer vehicles with built-in radar systems for safety...I could mute them, but it's annoying to say the least...I'm experienced user of radar detectors because I had a great range of this detector back then and was definitely one of the best (if not the best) detectors on the market. It recognized false alarms, which I didn't have of.

You can also set it to [play] different bands different voices.In my field, ka bands are popular with k bands.The mounting brackets are also great.I was able to mount the bracket/suction cup behind the rearview mirror and only have the detector showing under the mirror... This detector is twice as cheap compared to other similar competitors.I did a lot of research before buying and this met the requirements and exceeded my expectations.I highly recommend this feature, except for anyone willing to spend thousands of dollars for built-in protection.You won't regret it."-Amazonreviewer JaxFL
