Bentley Bentayga EWB features luxury high-tech airline seats

According to foreign media reports, the Bentley Bentayga EWB will be equipped with luxury airline seats (Airline Seat).This technologically advanced seat has 22 adjustments for maximum comfort.

The Bentayga EWB's aero seats are controlled by the main Seat Motion & Wellbeing ECU and offer two major new in-vehicle technologies, including in-car climate and posture adjustment.

This in-vehicle climate control system is known as the world's first seat surface thermal comfort sensing system.Simply put, it works like a typical cockpit climate control, only it's seat-specific.Passengers can set it up in 7 ways.Depending on the experience of different passengers and different environments, the Neutral Position can provide the best level of comfort.With sensors that detect the temperature and humidity levels of passenger contact surfaces, the airline seat's climate control system achieves an accuracy of 0.1 ºC every 25 milliseconds.

Bentley has also introduced a Postural Adjustment system in the Bentayga EWB model.It's not just the comfort that comes with adjusting the seat (nor just the seat massage system).The posture adjustment system can use the pneumatic activation zone to subtly adjust the contact pressure between the body and the seat, and control the relevant movements through complex algorithms, thereby reducing fatigue.The seat contour can be adjusted to suit the body shape of different users.Plus, with adjustable leg and footrest features, users can change their sitting position to maintain comfort for longer periods of time.

Bentley will deliver Bentayga EWB models to customers in the fourth quarter of this year, with the extended Bentayga only available in select markets, including the first version of the Bentayga EWB Azure.
