The Chevrolet Sailing should bring more sales with the Sailing U-VA hatchback twin.As a replacement for the AVEO twin, the Sail and Sail U-VA didn't actually set the sales charts as expected.In an attempt to inject more interest in cars, Chevrolet is introducing a facelift for the Sailing sedan and a sailing-frame hatchback.New Sail sedan gets chrome highlighted fog lights, black B-Pillars, new dual cockpit design with black beige interior, new leatherette upholstery, new ice blue backlighting, silver/chrome highlights in The cabin and the new highlight 2-DIN music system support Bluetooth.

The sail will have the same engine options - a 1.3-liter SDE Smartech turbo diesel and a 1.2-liter Smartech Petrol engine.The diesel engine produces 75ps of maximum power at 4,000rpm and 190Nm of peak torque at 1,750rpm, while the petrol engine runs out of 83.6ps at 6,000rpm and 108.5Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm.Fuel Efficiency PS for diesel and petrol engines of 22.1 kmpl and 18.2 kmpl respectively.

Toyota ETIO.

ETIOS is a sailboat from Toyota to Chevrolet.The TOIOS twins were Toyota's first foray into the mass division, and it didn't pan out as expected.Toyota ETIOS also gets a lineup of petrol and diesel engines.The petrol is a 1.5 litre engine making 90 ps at 5600 rpm and 132nm of torque at 3000 rpm, while the diesel is a 1.4 litre engine making 68 ps at 3800rpm and 170Nm of peak torque at 1800-2400 rpm.Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, with the petrol engine offering 16.78 kmpl and the diesel 23.59 kmpl.Huge space and Toyota reliability make for good pointers, but the cheap interior build and finish is against it.

Mahindra Verito.

The Verito, the only sedan from the Mahindra lineup, has been very successful, at least in the commercial market.Again, there is the Verito available in petrol and diesel versions.The petrol verito uses the 1.4-litre engine to swap out 76 ps at 3000 rpm at 3500 rpm and 110Nm of torque, while restoring fuel economy.And the diesel Verito is the favourite of the two, getting a 1.5-litre engine making 66 ps at 4000rpm and 160Nm of torque at 2000rpm.Both are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and the diesel Verito returns a fuel economy of 21.03 kmpl.The Mahindra Verito has enormous space and ride quality, but here again Lightluster Mareing keeps people away.
