Ssangyong unveils more variants of XIV at Paris Motor Show

Ssangyong Motor will be present at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, 2nd (Media Day) to 19 Six Technology Expo.

The XIV-AIR and XIV Adventure are powered by a 1.6-litre petrol or 1.6-litre diesel engine, meet the Euro 6 emission standard and are 4,195mm long with 2600mm axle tires.The two new concepts provide smart users with style, practicality and convenience, and the new car will go on sale next year.

XIV-AIR and XIV-Adventure are close to production-ready concepts, with the upcoming X100.Based on the brand's development philosophy of "Powerful, Professional and Premium" and "Born by Nature - 3 Motion" design themes, the XIV (Exciting User Interface Vehicle) is a B-Segment SUV range that has been built on previous International Motors The show has been shown for the past four years, with the 2011 IAA Frankfurt starting for the first time.We also saw the concept cars at the Auto Expo 2012 in Delhi.Just as Ssangyong is now part of the Mahindra group, it is also shown in India.

Ssangyong launched the Rexton W in India in 2012. It was the first model introduced in India from the Korean portfolio.Having had a strong start in the Indian car market as it initially started at around 500 units per month and in January 2013, the company started to randomly pool this SUV, further reducing costs.We can expect more launches from Solyong in the Indian car market, especially Korando, soon.Mahindra had earlier announced the compact SUV but had to revise its plans due to changing market conditions.Soon, we expect Mahindra Scorpio to launch in India.
